Abstract

Traditionally, telephony systems require a large investment for SMBs. As more businesses search for ways to cut costs while maintaining fully functional and feature-rich products, today’s SMBs are increasingly looking to cloud-based solutions to meet their needs.

Business owners considering a change to their telephony solution must consider several factors to determine the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of a given solution. One-time expenses such as licenses, hardware (servers/phones), installation and training, the phones themselves, as well as ongoing operational expenses such as maintenance and power costs all must be taken into account.
