Abstract
Extreme Networks, Inc. commissioned The Tolly Group to evaluate its BlackDiamond 6800 series 10GLRi module, a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface and to compare its performance to a Foundry Networks Inc BigIron 8000 outfitted with a B10Gx interface. Tests included zero-loss throughput using 10,000 unique IP addresses, ACL and flow control functionality, 802.1p/Q and Jumbo Frames throughput.
